Stonebwoy who has had such an impressive run so far in the music industry both in Ghana and the diaspora attributed the immense respect, support and loyalty received from fans to the humility and respect he puts in.
“I grateful to God I’m doing what I do and doing it with humility as well. I’m being respected for the respect I put in, not because I’m and I’m popular or anything materialistic”.
According to him the reality and positive drive found in his music is partly responsible for the following he has enacted. He added;
‘’one thing I know is reality, in my music I try to preach as much reality as I can, like life situations. That’s what we represent as musicians, we sing what people feel, say and go through by putting it in a melody and onto a rhythm. I thank God I’ve been able keep at it”
Obviously, his music keeps traversing steadily beyond expectations and recognized equally worldwide, Stonebwoy again expounded that he strongly believes his country (Ghana) is blessed with unique talents.
He ended it all by expressing joy on what he has achieved so far as an African kid getting authentication from even the Jamaicans. He hinted upcoming collaborations with likes of Christopher Martin, Popcaan, Mad Cobra and others.
Stonebwoy has been working tirelessly for the past years and hopes to make it to the shortlist of the nominations for the Best Reggae album at this year’s Grammy Awards.
